Well, after some deep, philosophical conversion with the higher ups at Scott Sports, Black Pug Bike Repair is no longer a dealer for Scott bikes. It’s not a decision I’m happy with after 5 years of selling their bikes, but there will be another shop in the Dayton area that has committed to a large inventory and Black Pug was not a stocking dealer, special order only. The folks at Scott didn’t seem it fair that one store commits to stocking a lot of bikes and another doesn’t have to. I get that. However, I still have an account with Scott and can take care of my customers when it comes to service parts and warranty claims. I am grateful for that as I didn’t want to leave you all hanging. A huge THANK YOU to the hundreds of customers and followers of Black Pug who supported me and signed the petition put out their by my good friend and customer Pete Hitzeman! I am truly humbled. Black Pug’s current road bike offerings are from Co-Motion, Lynskey, Carver, Soma, Velo Orange, and for a do it all carbon rig, the Niner RLT RDO. The full list of bike offerings will be updated in early Spring 2020.
